I don't see this being used widely. Users don't create galleries around a person. People don't want to see an entire gallery of their friend Bob, or even "Mom"

i disagree, photog. i could see a lot of people using this to make photo albums for birthdays or events (i.e. bob and mom's wedding). a great option would be the ability to tag many different people/faces under the same tag (trip to canada, e.g.).

there's definitely potential here. it'll come down to functionality and usability.

The technology iLovePhotos is using is very cool and powerful, but I think the implementation is going to be the problem. Why? Because now I have to lose all the work spent tagging/organizing photos in iPhoto (or Picasa or,,,) and move everything into a new app.

Now if iLovePhotos could be a plugin for iPhoto, THAT would be awesome!
